The silver grille does not work at all....

I'm gonna buy one, fuck a Mustang GT, this is even better! And it can be daily driven!

Shelby American should be careful.
People are going to get confused... Ford is selling a GT350 and GT350R... and perhaps another big-power GT500 in the future.
Shelby American then tries to sell add-on aftermarket stuff, too...
I have to say, I kind of wish the hood had a scoop, even a well done fake one... rather than just a bulge, and a flat top. And the silver grille inserts aren't really doing it for me.

Yea its a weird collaboration that they have going. Im just impressed with the hp and such cause its based off the GT and not added on to the GT350.

It reminds me of the Viper, an (IMO) much more attractive car. I am okay with this.

I loved this- until the package is $40k PLUS the car?! NO way!

They've been doing Shelby GTs for a couple years now. "Powered by Ford" and all that.

Yea its a little crazy
![]() 01/16/2015 at 17:45 |

I second this.

It's probably going to be a lot more fun to drive

So 40k + minimum 33k Mustang GT = 73k, while a new GT350 is 53k. Anyone care to bet that when the actual road tests are done on both vehicles the Shelby GT has only a fractionally better performance (if it's better at all)?

When my dad was looking at Saleens he optioned out his base car and what he wanted from Saleen. He didn't pick to many options. Then Saleen sent us the list, from a base Mustang GT (Not including the options my dad wanted) it was already 70-80K. For a Mustang GT. I didn't think it could be worse then that.
I just priced out one of these. The base car is a decently optioned out premium GT. I just got up to 90K. NINETY THOUSAND FOR A MUSTANG GT! Forget that. I could possibly buy a GT350R and possibly a base GT for that.
The car isn't bad looking besides the color grille. I really like the rear end. I could do without the all extra badges though.

ooooo it would be

Well, a super long hood V10 (almost) super car should be more attractive than a pony car.
It's not a bad thing to remind people of though, that's for sure.
